Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a fast-paced retail team. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store’s appearance.

You will contribute to delivering great service, support coaching and feedback, and ensure store safety and cleanliness. You may cover shift leadership in their absence and, if applicable, handle Post Office Local duties with required checks.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stock shelves and process payments to maintain store appearance.
• Support on-the-job coaching and feedback to improve service.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the store safe for customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and process payments to ensure smooth store operations.
• Provide enthusiastic, helpful service to customers and resolve queries.
• Assist across all areas of the store including online orders, tills, replenishment and stock routines.
• Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
• Follow Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
• When absent, run the shift in absence of Shift Leader or Store Manager.
• If applicable, perform Post Office Local duties and pass required background checks.
