Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Customer Assistant for a 20-35 hour contract with AM & PM shifts and weekend availability on Canvey Island. You will help customers, restock shelves, and run tills, ensuring the store is clean, tidy and welcoming.

You'll receive a competitive hourly rate (£13.45–£14.45), a holiday allowance (30-35 days pro rata), an in-store discount (10%), a pension scheme and opportunities to grow into specialist roles with training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to start a shift early or finish late.
• Positive approach to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be a Lidl expert, helping our customers with their questions, queries and requests.
• Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store.
• Passionately provide excellent customer service.
• Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.
• Expertly merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products.
