Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Customer Assistant to keep shelves stocked, operate tills and deliver friendly service across shifts. You’ll play a key role in keeping the store clean, tidy and welcoming for every customer, with opportunities to learn and progress within the team.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate (£13.45–£14.45) with 30–35 days’ holiday pro rata, 10% in-store discount and a pension scheme, plus enhanced family leave and long service awards to reward loyalty.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to start a shift early or finish late.

Responsibilities

• Be a Lidl expert, helping our customers with their questions, queries and requests.
• Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store.
• Passionately provide excellent customer service.
• Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.
• Expertly merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products.
