Job summary

DN Colleges Group is seeking a Personal Development Facilitator to plan, deliver and refresh learner-centred PD sessions across the college, helping students build wellbeing, employability and digital skills.

This role requires a Level 3 qualification, ICT skills, and the ability to support groups; you will work with Student Services and curriculum teams, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring inclusive participation.

Qualifications

• A relevant vocational or professional qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience of working with learners in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching roles.
• Ability to use ICT effectively within learning environments and to facilitate blended learning sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a learner-centred approach and collaboration with colleagues.
• Understanding of teaching and learning within group sessions, learner support needs, safeguarding in further/higher education, and development of learners' personal development, behaviour and attitudes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PD sessions that promote participation and discussion.
• Create and maintain high-quality learning resources and activities.
• Promote wellbeing, citizenship, digital awareness and progression planning.
• Monitor learner engagement and refer learners to appropriate support services when needed.
• Collaborate with facilitators, tutors, curriculum leaders and wider college teams to support learner success.
• Contribute to PD curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
