Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Planner to join our team, supporting South West Water. The role focuses on coordinating operational works, keeping jobs on track and ensuring teams have necessary information and permits.

You will plan and schedule work, convert requests into precise instructions, monitor progress, and liaise with colleagues and customers. Familiarity with streetworks permits and NRSWA is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or operational coordination roles.
• Experience of streetworks permits through One.network or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work for operational teams using internal systems and planning tools.
• Turn work requests into clear, accurate work instructions.
• Monitor jobs from start to finish, track progress and update systems.
• Liaise with operational colleagues and customers to coordinate activities and manage expectations.
• Prepare, submit and track streetworks permits and notices, including traffic management.
• Check work windows and road restrictions to ensure permits are met and compliant with regulations (NRSWA).
• Ensure planning records, permits and related paperwork are completed accurately within timescales.
