Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time permanent role. You will manage day-to-day accounting, month-end closes, and financial reporting for Directors and the Group, ensuring deadlines.

The role also includes turnover and cashflow forecasting, liaison with the commercial team on finance queries, and supporting audits, tax compliance, and the development of the accounts team.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA preferred.
• Excellent Excel and Word skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detailed knowledge of financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and annual management accounts.
• Handle turnover and cashflow forecasting.
• Assist commercial team with finance queries.
• Support internal/external audits during financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with government and HMRC regulations.
• Oversee tax reporting and legal financial statements.
• Supervise accounts department and training.
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors and bank.
