Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. You will manage day-to-day accounts, conduct month-end and annual reconciliations, and prepare reports for the Directors and Group under strict deadlines.

The role requires Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA, strong Excel/Word skills, and a full UK driving licence. You will forecast turnover and cashflow, support audits, and supervise the Accounts department while ensuring HMRC

Qualifications

• Part qualified in CIMA or ACCA with progress toward chartered status.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and annual management accounts.
• Turnover and Cashflow forecasting.
• Liaise with the commercial team with finance queries.
• Assist auditors during audits.
• Ensure compliance with Government and HMRC regulations/requirements.
• Ensure the correctness and validity of tax reporting and financial statements.
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors and banks.
• Monitor and report performance of company bank accounts.
• Organise payroll processing, invoicing, and payments.
• Provide training on accounting functions within the department.
• Monitor the Accounts department team performance.
• Carry out other tasks as requested.
