Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Nottingham team on a full-time permanent basis. You will handle day-to-day accounts, month-end close, and provide accurate financial reporting to Directors and the Group under tight deadlines.

You'll use your CIMA/ACCA progress and strong Excel/Word skills to manage forecasting, audits, tax reporting, and liaise with commercial teams to resolve finance queries. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified CIMA (preference)/ACCA.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of financial accounting.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
• Assist with turnover and cashflow forecasting.
• Support auditors during financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and government finance regulations.
• Oversee accounting processes across invoicing, payroll and month-end close.
• Collaborate with tax advisors and auditors.
• Monitor bank accounts and financial reporting.
