Job summary

RSE Control Systems in Nottingham is seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. You will handle day-to-day accounts, month-end and year-end reconciliations, and report to Directors with strict deadlines.

Regular travel to Leeds is required. Responsibilities include preparing monthly/annual management accounts, forecasting turnover and cashflow, auditing support, and ensuring compliance with HMRC and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified CIMA (preference)/ACCA
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Detailed knowledge in financial accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and annual management accounts
• Turnover and cashflow forecasting
• Liaise with commercial team on finance queries
• Assist auditors during audits
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and government regulations
• Oversee tax reporting and financial statements
• Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors and bank
• Monitor bank account performance
• Oversee invoicing, payroll, and supplier/purchaser processing
• Organise training for accounting functions
• Supervise Accounts department team
• Carry out additional related tasks
