Job summary

Morris Clarke Recruitment Ltd in Daventry is seeking an Experienced Internal Sales Executive to drive sales and generate new leads. You will support account managers, handle order processing, and maintain your own customer base.

You will ensure quotes, invoices, and product data are up to date, while maintaining proactive contact with customers to grow revenue and regain market share.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sales administration is kept up to date, including sales quotes, issuing proforma invoices, following up quotes, and providing adequate product data to customers.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to retain, grow, and convert customers, thereby increasing sales.
• Contact potential customers from the database who may have dealt with the company in the past to regain market share, correctly identifying problems in products, pricing, and marketing, and relaying this information.
• Follow up on accounts called into question by the Managing Director, conveying answers promptly and accurately through sales meetings to pre‑empt potential loss of business.
• Contact new leads from various sources to increase market potential, provide accurate, factually backed information on new products, their estimated volumes and current price, and ensure a smooth flow of new products and necessary amendments to existing products.
• Follow up sales quotes and other information given to customers to maintain maximum efficiency, professionalism, and to close sales effectively.
• Collect samples and market information, acquire competitors’ price lists and promotional material, and obtain samples of new products available.
• Ensure accurate administration: send follow‑up letters, quotes, and fliers from the sales office, maintain accurate data records, and provide professional follow‑up.
