Job summary

Applebough Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a welcoming primary school in the Oldbury area. You will support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, delivering well-planned lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced HLTA or teaching assistant with classroom practitioner background.
• Confident managing whole classes and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Able to deliver clear, engaging and purposeful lessons.
• Flexible across KS1 and KS2.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
• Calm, patient and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and proactive team member.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned lessons and manage whole-class learning.
• Maintain a positive, purposeful classroom environment.
• Support pupils to progress academically and socially.
• Work with teachers and staff to ensure continuity in learning.
