We are seeking a confident, adaptable and committed HLTA who can deliver high-quality learning experiences and support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident taking responsibility for whole-class learning, delivering well-planned lessons and maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and maintain high expectations of pupil behaviour.
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Work flexibly across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, adapting to different year groups and curriculum requirements.
Provide effective support to pupils, helping them to make good progress academically and socially.
Work closely with teachers and other members of staff to ensure continuity in learning.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Be confident working independently and taking responsibility for a class when required.
Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and be a reliable and flexible member of the school team.
We are looking for someone who is:
An experienced HLTA, Teaching Assistant or experienced classroom practitioner.
Confident managing whole classes and maintaining positive behaviour.
Able to deliver clear, engaging and purposeful lessons.
Flexible and comfortable working across both KS1 and KS2.
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Calm, patient and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
