Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a proactive Hire & Sales Coordinator for our Non-Mechanical division. You will manage hire requests, coordinate logistics, and deliver exceptional service to customers.

The role offers real career progression in a fast-growing business with nationwide reach in plant and tool hire. As the first point of contact, you’ll drive sales, handle queries, and work with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service with a commercial edge and sales mindset.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• Able to work in a team and also on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires across Non-Mechanical equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle queries with speed and accuracy.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters for timely deliveries/collections.
• Resolve customer complaints and supplier issues professionally.
