Job summary

The GAP Group is seeking an enthusiastic Hire & Sales Coordinator to join our Survey division in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for customers, manage hire requests, coordinate logistics, and help maximise sales in a busy depot environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a high-volume hire desk, excellent customer service, and solid IT skills including Outlook and Excel. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced team and be ready to grow with a supportive, ambitious company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge and sales drive.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Team player who can also work independently and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires per day.
• Process hire desk administration and handle queries quickly and accurately.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters for timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolve customer and supplier issues professionally.
