Job summary

HealthJobs4U.com Ltd is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The role involves assisting in the operation and development of a nursery school, providing activities and support for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years in a child-centred environment.

You will work with colleagues to plan, prepare and evaluate age-appropriate activities, and act as a key person to monitor learning and development. A DBS check and references are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification required.
• Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage is beneficial.
• DBS and employment references expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating the nursery and activities for 6 weeks to 4 years.
• Plan, prepare and evaluate activities suitable for children's ability levels.
• Be a key person monitoring educational, physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.
• Liaise with parents and families to involve them in nursery aims.
• Coordinate with Local Authorities and professionals linked to the nursery.
• Maintain safety, hygiene and security in line with Ofsted EYFS.
• Stay updated on policies and practice in childcare and play.
• Attend staff meetings and nursery events; participate in training.
• Undertake day-to-day domestic tasks and keep areas tidy.
