Job summary

Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner in London to support development and well-being of young children in a nurturing setting. You will assist with daily activities and interact positively with children and families.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
• BA in Early Years Education from UK or overseas university. Or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification, EYPS.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote children's development.
• Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage independence, curiosity and confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment complying with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate with parents about each child's progress and daily experiences.
• Assist management with implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.

Overview

We are seeking a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, fostering positive interactions, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met.

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning journeys while working within a collaborative team committed to high standards of care. You will have the option to work either all year round or Term Time Only, 12 weeks paid holidays.
