Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Shifnal and Much Wenlock. The role involves supervising classes in teacher's absence, delivering pre-prepared work across subjects, and maintaining positive behaviour to keep students focused and progressing.

Roles are available on a part-time or full-time basis with ASAP start, offering flexible schedules to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable.
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to set clear expectations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills when liaising with pupils and school staff.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff.
