Job summary

BT Group is seeking a security-focused operations professional to manage and assure a large, highly secure Managed Service supporting UK national infrastructure. You will work under the Operational Service Manager to maintain resilience, security assurance, and stability, delivering a strong customer experience.

The role requires handling 1st/2nd line activities, strict adherence to SYOPS, and collaboration with BT lines of business, government, and contractors. DV clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secure, highly available managed services.
• Knowledge across networking, infrastructure, security, virtualization, and environmental systems in secure estates.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
• Ability to operate within strict procedures and local work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate, and assure a large, complex secure managed service.
• Maintain security posture and operational readiness during shifts.
• Identify, elevate, and resolve incidents and degradation.
• Support testing and development of service capability as directed.
• Assist in attaining government security accreditation.
