Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support our defence engineering client in Stevenage. The role focuses on maintaining secure enterprise networks across the UK estate, working with security teams and external partners to ensure stability and performance.

Key responsibilities include handling multi-site network operations, investigating issues, and driving secure network enhancements. DV clearance and knowledge of Cisco technologies are required.

Qualifications

• Strong network engineering background in enterprise or secure environments.
• Experience with Cisco ecosystems (Catalyst Centre and ISE).
• Experience with routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSI models.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Investigate and resolve network-related issues and risks.
• Support network improvement projects and security initiatives.
• Collaborate with security teams on reporting, risk analysis and compliance.
• Liaise with vendors to optimise service delivery.
• Maintain network documentation and processes.
• Support crypto solutions and secure network environments.
