Job summary

BT Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Professional to provide critical on-site IT support in Cheltenham, ensuring services remain available and incidents are resolved promptly. The role involves on-site leadership for workplace technology and security improvements, with a focus on automation using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.

Experience in enterprise IT, Windows environments, and SCCM is essential; DV security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across end-user devices and workplace tech.
• Good understanding of Windows desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SCCM.
• Experience in secure or regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for Cheltenham colleagues and corporate services.
• Act as on-site technical lead for incidents, requests and improvements.
• Drive automation-first infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Support and evolve endpoint management platforms including SCCM.
• Resolve infrastructure and security issues across compute, storage, networking and cloud.
