Job summary

Kainos is looking for a Product Consultant to own backlog maturity and drive MVP thinking from inception through delivery. You will lead agile ceremonies, run workshops, and engage a diverse group of stakeholders to foster consensus and clear outcomes.

You will also coach and develop a small team while managing the end-to-end delivery of features, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility in a defence-facing context.

Qualifications

• Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team
• Defence sector experience preferred
• Active DV clearance
• Experience across the software development lifecycle from analysis to live operations
• Excellent facilitator of workshops and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to model As-is and To-be business processes with buy-in
• Experience in stakeholder management and client/supplier relationships
• Experience contributing to bids and sales proposals
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and mentoring teammates
• Proven track record developing junior team members

Responsibilities

• Owns backlog maturity and features from inception to delivery
