Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer - Linux for an on-site role in Hampshire. This 12-month+ contract focuses on secure, mission-critical infrastructure with DV clearance essential.

You will build, automate and maintain Linux environments, develop CI/CD pipelines and manage containerised applications in highly secure settings. The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration skills, hands-on DevOps experience and proficiency with IaC

Qualifications

Active DV Clearance required.
Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
Proficiency with DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps).
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift experience.
Scripting in Bash and/or Python.
Experience with Git version control.
Knowledge of networking, system hardening and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Build, automate and maintain secure Linux-based environments.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and services.
Deploy and manage containerised applications.
Collaborate with infrastructure, software and security teams to deliver resilient platforms.
Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance and availability.
