Job summary

CMR is seeking a Cost Engineer to join our award-winning project controls team supporting a major UK infrastructure programme. You will assist cost control, forecasting and reporting across a fast-moving delivery environment.

This role suits someone with cost engineering or project controls experience who wants to develop within a large programme, working closely with commercial and delivery teams, with clear progression through our merit-based system.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost engineering or project controls within infrastructure.
• Clear communication of cost and performance to peers/managers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret cost data.
• Experience with cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting or variance analysis.
• Understanding of project controls and cost management principles.
• Proficient in Excel and cost reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, forecasting and reporting across a major infrastructure programme.
• Collate, analyse and report cost information in line with governance.
• Produce cost reports, dashboards, accruals, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Work with project controls, commercial and delivery teams to monitor cost performance and identify risks.
• Review data and challenge information to ensure accurate updates.
