Job summary

CMR is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to drive integrated cost control for a landmark UK transport programme. You will lead a team, manage forecasts, and ensure rigorous reporting across ACWP, EV and EAC using EcoSys.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, review Tier 1 estimates, and apply NEC/FIDIC frameworks. A 3-2 hybrid London pattern is expected, with strong collaboration across disciplines and growth opportunities within a dynamic consultancy.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in cost or commercial functions.
• Deep understanding of cost management & earned value.
• Strong grasp of engineering, procurement and construction processes.
• High analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience with EcoSys.
• Familiarity with NEC or FIDIC contracts.
• Commercially astute with interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control practices across the Civil Works Programme.
• Coach Cost Discipline team and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Maintain cost forecasts and actuals in EcoSys.
• Oversee monthly cost reporting including ACWP, EV, and EAC.
• Review estimates from Tier 1 contractors and suppliers.
• Analyze cost performance and identify risks or opportunities.
