Job summary

Halo Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager for a part-time role at Pyle Swimming Pool. The position offers 18 hours per week with a fixed rota, and pays £14.18 per hour. You will lead the team, ensure safe, welcoming facilities, and support staff in delivering great customer service.

The role includes opportunities to gain further qualifications with Halo’s support and participate in development and progression within the charity. A strong customer focus and calm decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 months Previous management/supervisory experience in leisure or service setting.
• Basic IT ability to use Google Docs/Sheets.
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Halo-supported pathway to achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily centre operations and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Lead the team, allocate shifts, and support staff wellbeing.
• Assist with training and progression opportunities within Halo Leisure.
