Job summary

Whitbread PLC invites applications for a Duty Manager role at Liverpool City Centre (Liverpool One) Premier Inn. You will lead shifts, work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay and your team has what it needs.

You’ll provide frontline leadership, coach colleagues and keep operations running smoothly. Applicants without hotel experience are welcome; a passion for leading people and staying calm in busy periods is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and ability to coach a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
• Confident, customer-service oriented in a busy hotel environment

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across front desk, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure smooth operations
• Coach and support team members throughout the day
• Assist guests with questions and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with reception to restaurant teams, spotting issues early and taking action
• Ensure guest safety and keep the hotel running as required
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
