Job summary

Whitbread’s Oxford Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to lead shifts, coordinate across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, and ensure a smooth guest experience. The role is permanent with 32 guaranteed hours per week and pay up to £14.36 per hour.

You’ll manage guest queries, coach your team, and help run the hotel during busy periods, including evenings and weekends. This is a hands-on, frontline leadership role with real progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Ability to make quick, clear decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Assist guests with queries and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.
• Identify issues early and act to resolve them.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
