Job summary

swim! is seeking a Duty Manager in the Newcastle area to lead venue operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will supervise a team, ensure safety and cleanliness, and partner with local schools and groups to grow the swim! community.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a leisure, hospitality or customer-facing setting.
• Experience working in facilities, leisure or pool operations.
• Strong communication skills, in person and on the phone.
• Passion for delivering premium experiences and community engagement.
• Ability to work a 3-week rota, including some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the swim! venue on shift to ensure safety, cleanliness and a great customer experience.
• Motivate and support the team to deliver a premium experience every day.
• Maintain high operational and safety standards, including pool plant operations (training provided).
• Handle safety, cleanliness and customer service accountabilities.
• Engage with the local community, schools and groups to raise awareness and drive sign-ups.
