Whitbread's Premier Inn in Glasgow (Hamilton) is hiring a Duty Manager on a 30-hour week, with an hourly rate up to £13.86. This fixed-term role runs until 31 December 2026 and involves leading shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.

You’ll be on the floor, solving problems, briefing staff and supporting the Hotel Manager. Prior hotel experience isn’t required, but strong leadership and customer service are essential to succeed here.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments.
• Ability to make quick, clear decisions under pressure.
• Strong customer service focus and guest-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Work across reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure smooth operations.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
