Job summary

Premier Inn is looking for a Duty Manager in Swanley to lead shifts, support reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams, and ensure the hotel runs smoothly. You’ll be on the floor, guiding staff, solving problems, and delivering guest satisfaction during busy periods.

This permanent role offers guaranteed hours, full training, and real opportunities to progress toward a Hotel Manager position within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy, customer-facing environments.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
