Middle Eight in London seeks a Duty Manager to oversee Front Office operations, lead a warm, high-performing team and ensure five-star service that feels personal. You will coordinate with multiple departments, handle guest issues with confidence and uphold the hotel’s premium standards.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this role demands an engaging leader who can balance personality with professionalism and drive guest satisfaction while supporting commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in hotel Front Office operations.
• Experience in a five-star or luxury lifestyle hotel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office team across shifts.
• Create genuine connections with guests and anticipate needs.
• Take ownership of escalated guest issues and resolve them effectively.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Concierge, F&B and other departments.
• Coach and develop colleagues through constructive feedback and leadership.
• Ensure accurate guest records, payments and handovers.
