Job summary

Halo Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager for Holmleigh Park Leisure Centre in Gloucester. The role is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours) with a fixed rota covering early openings and late closings, including alternating weekends.

You will be proactive, approachable, calm, and decisive, driving a safe, clean, and busy centre with a strong focus on team development. As Duty Manager you’ll gain management experience, pursue a Level 3 Duty Manager qualification, and benefit from excellent

Job Title: Duty Manager | Location:Holmleigh Park Leisure Centre Job Type: Permanent, Full time 37 hours | Salary Listing: £14.18 per hour To Start: September Rota: A variety of shifts covering opens (from 7:00), close (up to 21:15), and alternating weekends (7:45-14:15) As a Duty Manager, you are proactive, approachable, calm, and decisive.

You will be key in making sure the centre meets its objectives, and be a caring role model who listens to the concerns of their team.

The Key Requirements

• 3 months Previous management/supervisory experience either in a leisure or a service based setting
• Confidence to use basic IT software
• Google Docs/Sheets or equivalent
• Centres with a pool
• the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to achieve this with Halo's support.
• Joining Halo Leisure, you’ll learn new skills in management, undertake a funded Level 3 Duty Manager qualification if you wish (or higher if you already hold this), specialise in an area of the business, work at different sites and contribute to the success of the business and the organisation. You will be one of the key people driving the success of the centre and receive a sector leading induction and ongoing training programme.
