Leisure Solutions Community Trust is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Westgate Leisure Centre in Chichester. The role involves ensuring a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for customers of all ages, supporting colleagues, maintaining high standards and delivering smooth programme execution.
The ideal candidate will have Lifeguard experience or management in a leisure setting, strong health & safety knowledge, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to drive
Location: Westgate Leisure Centre, Chichester, PO19 1RJ
Salary: £28,908.08 pro rata (based 30 hours per week) plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Permanent, 30 hours per week, 3-week rota with various shift times across 7 days, typical weekday shift times: 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10.30pm, typical weekend shift times: 6am to 12.30pm, 7.30am to 8pm or 1pm to 8pm

As a Duty Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the leisure centre, helping create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for customers of all ages. By supporting colleagues, maintaining high standards and ensuring activities run smoothly, you'll have a positive impact on communities, helping more people stay active, connected and healthy while contributing to a better future.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
