Job summary

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is seeking a Duty Manager for our Plymouth Fitness & Wellbeing Club. You will ensure smooth day-to-day club operations, greet and engage members, and support a proactive team with a strong focus on service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club, including opening and closing during shifts.
• Prioritize member satisfaction and build strong relationships with members.
• Lead by example and support colleagues while maintaining high standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting benefits of Nuffield Health.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Assist in achieving sales targets for the club.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to train on site for lifeguard breaks.

Duty Manager – Fitness and Wellbeing Club

Plymouth FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent contract | Full time

Up to £28,038.30 per annum depending on experience plus sales commission

40 hours per week

As a Duty Manager at our gym, you’ll bring demonstrable sales experience and the ability to quickly get to grips with our business. You’re enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and you share our passion for excellent customer service.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
