Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Duty Manager in Marlborough to lead daily centre operations and ensure a safe, well‑maintained environment during opening hours. The role focuses on guiding staff, resolving complex issues, and delivering positive experiences through active lifestyles.

The position offers a pro rata salary and a hybrid working model. Training to obtain the NPLQ will be provided within three months, supported by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).

Salary: £29,064 - £31,022 pro rata (Plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts)

Hours per week: 18 hours

As a Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our centre’s day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact ensuring a safe and well‑maintained environment during operating hours.

We're looking for someone who brings innovation, energy, and strong leadership skills to the table, especially when it comes to solving complex customer and facility issues.

Don't have the UK's National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) yet? No worries! We'll support you in obtaining it within three months through a course run by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).
