Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking lifeguards to supervise pool and poolside activities, ensuring member safety and wellbeing. Training and development opportunities, including NVQ apprenticeships, are available to support your career growth.

Successful candidates will work on a rota basis, with some evening and weekend shifts, and NPLQ holders will be prioritized for shortlisting. Wiltshire Council may fund your NPLQ course, subject to suitability and course availability.

Job description

Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts)

Hours per week: 37 hours

NPLQ holders receive priority for shortlisting. Non-NPLQ candidates may still be considered. Wiltshire Council may fund your NPLQ course, which you must complete within 3 months of starting, subject to swim test and course availability.
