Southwark Council’s Leisure division is seeking a Duty Manager for the Leisure Centre to oversee on-duty operations, ensure customer care, and maintain safe activity delivery.
You will lead on-duty teams, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and council procedures. Shift work includes early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Southwark Leisure is looking for a Duty Manager to join our team at Leisure Centre. Working as part of the Management Team, you will manage all aspects of operating the centre when on duty, ensuring high standard of customer care and safe operation of all activities.
Duty Managers need to be responsible and calm under pressure. You will have a friendly, approachable manner, excellent verbal communication skills, good numerical and written skills and be committed to delivering excellent customer service to our customers. Ideally, you will have supervisory experience in the leisure & hospitality or service industries and a good knowledge of the day-to-day running of a busy Leisure Centre.
