Job summary

Wiltshire Council in Marlborough is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the centre’s day-to-day operations, acting as the main contact for staff and visitors and ensuring a safe, well‑maintained environment during opening hours.

This role is 18 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £29,064‑£31,022 and includes support to obtain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) within three months through an RLSS course.

As a Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our centre’s day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment during operating hours.

We're looking for someone who brings innovation, energy, and strong leadership skills to the table, especially when it comes to solving complex customer and facility issues.

Don't have the UK's National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) yet? No worries! We'll support you in obtaining it within three months through a course run by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).
