Job summary

Lumero Educational Trust is seeking a Caretaker to support the Estates Manager in ensuring safe, clean and secure school premises across Pratts Bottom and Chelsfield Primary Schools. The role involves opening duties, maintenance tasks, and collaboration with local oasis schools as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driving licence (own vehicle preferred), be comfortable working as part of a site team or independently, and implement health and safety procedures including COSHH and

Qualifications

• Driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team and as a lone worker.
• Health & Safety knowledge including COSHH and drills.
• Good communication across stakeholders and users of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Support Estates Manager to ensure safe, clean and secure school premises.
• Carry out opening duties and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Inspect site daily for safety, address actions with Estates Manager.
• Undertake routine cleaning, minor repairs and reporting issues.
• Coordinate with schools and manage access and security measures.
