Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in Bristol is seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to swap gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes and perform demonstrations. The role includes repairing and maintaining meters after installation, with a strong focus on customer service and aftercare.

Qualifications

• MET1 qualification required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 credentials preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• Experience with 3 phase or single-off meters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service with a full meter usage demonstration.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after installation.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer – £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure – £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus

• MET1
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous
