Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters seeks Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers for permanent roles in Galashiels. You will replace gas/electric meters in customers' homes, demonstrate meter usage, and perform post-install maintenance.

Eligible candidates must hold MET1 and CCN1/CMA1/CMA3, with a full UK driving licence and at least 6 months’ dual fuel meter fitting experience. The role offers banding between £39,923 and £41,571 per annum, with uncapped OTE (£48–£53k) and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• MET1 qualification or equivalent
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 certifications preferred
• Single phase electric experience required
• MOCOPA (1a/1c) knowledge required or desirable
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge is a plus
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Minimum 6 months fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care service with a full meter demonstration.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus
