Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in Taunton, UK, is seeking skilled Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers on a permanent basis. You will exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes and provide a first-class after-care service with a full demonstration on using the new meter.

Banding A £39,923 pa; Banding B £41,571 pa; OTE for DF engineers £48–53K uncapped. Includes performance bonuses, weekly meter-fit bonuses, and £60 monthly lunch expenses.

Qualifications

• MET1 qualification or equivalent electrical safety knowledge.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications are preferred for meter works.
• Single phase electrical installation and testing knowledge.
• MOCOPA (1a/1c) competence required.
• REGT1 and polyphase experience is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• At least 6 months’ dual fuel meter installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide an after-care service with a full meter demonstration.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus
