Mitie Group plc in London is offering a dual-role opportunity that combines Control Room Operator duties with Security Officer responsibilities across the estate. You will split time between monitoring security systems and frontline patrols, including outdoor areas, with shifts varying to meet operational needs.

The role requires holding both a CCTV and Door Supervisor licence, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to report clearly and act calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must hold both a Door Supervisor and CCTV licence.
• Ability to problem solve under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Adhere to health and safety at all times.
• Front of house and security experience are desirable.
• Control Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dual-role duties across control room and frontline security.
• Conduct internal and external patrols, including outdoors as required.
• Monitor access and egress for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Maintain clear records and logbooks; incident reporting.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate with teams.
• Support operational requirements and adapt shift patterns.
