Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified D&T teachers for roles across Bristol starting September 2026. Experience in Food Technology and/or Resistant Materials is valued, with opportunities for day-to-day supply, longer-term positions, or new school environments.

• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Preparing and organising resources for practical activities.
• Working effectively with the wider DT department.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

We are particularly interested in teachers with experience in Food Technology and/or Resistant Materials.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, managing practical activities and ensuring students work safely and effectively with appropriate tools, equipment and materials.

The role would suit an experienced DT Teacher, as well as an ECT with relevant secondary teaching experience.
