Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified Design & Technology teacher for Bristol-based roles starting September 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with opportunities across multiple secondary schools.

Candidates should have UK QTS or equivalent and experience in Food Technology and/or Resistant Materials, including managing practical sessions. Pay ranges from £150 to £220 per day with flexible day-to-day or longer-term supply options.

The Opportunity

As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. We are particularly interested in teachers with experience in Food Technology and/or Resistant Materials. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, managing practical activities and ensuring students work safely and effectively with appropriate tools, equipment and materials. The role would suit an experienced DT Teacher, as well as an ECT with relevant secondary teaching experience.
