Job summary

XPO Logistics in Rochester is recruiting a full-time Drivers Mate for our Specialist Services contract. You will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekends off, and receive comprehensive training and ongoing development through the XPO University.

You’ll load and unload vehicles, deliver and install specialist equipment, and demonstrate it to end users on site. The role requires a physically fit team player and offers 20 days holiday, pension, and discounts.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Accurately and safely, load and unload vehicles


• Delivering and assembling specialist equipment to end-users


• On-site testing of equipment and brief customer demonstrations


• Full training will be given on Manual Handling, moving, and installing the products

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• Previous installation experience would be advantageous


• Physically fit as a lot of manual handling will be involved


• You must be a team player as you will be sharing a vehicle all day with a driver
