Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE is seeking Class 2 drivers for a permanent role at our Rochester site. You will work Monday to Friday on a day shift, 40 hours per week, delivering business and commercial supplies across various locations.

Qualifications

• Cat C Licence with no more than 6 penalty points or equivalent endorsements.
• Previous delivery experience preferred but full training can be provided.
• Customer-facing roles experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to commercial and residential properties and sites as assigned.
• Multidrop across multiple locations on scheduled routes.
• Operate a Cat C vehicle in a safe and compliant manner.
• Complete daily checks and assist with manual handling as required.

Are you currently working as a Class 2 driver and looking for a change Do you enjoy being out and about, doing something different each day? Are you looking for a full working week with 40 hours, in a permanent job? Were looking for Class 2 drivers to join us at our site, working Monday to Friday in Rochester.

Pay, benefits and more.

Youll be supporting us with our network operation, working on the day shift. The roles are multi-drop delivering business and commercial supplies to customers at various locations. You will be working weekdays only. In return for your hard work, well offer you a competitive rate of £15.63 with overtime at an enhanced rate. In addition, we offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days with 4 years service, plus all our great benefits including ongoing learning with the XPO University, Pension, free uniform and great savings and benefits.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Making deliveries to commercial and residential properties and sites to a specified room
• Multidrop across several different locations
• Operating a Cat C Vehicle
• You will be a variety of different products
• Full manual handling training will be given

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Cat C Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points or DD DR TT IN endorsement codes)
• Previous experience would be great for this role, although full training can be given
• You will be working at customers sites making complex deliveries so must have previous experience in customer-facing roles
