Job summary

DHL in the United Kingdom is seeking a Driver's Mate to support our drivers in delivering goods safely and on time in Swansea. Your day will involve coordinating loading, assisting with unloading at premises, staying in touch with the transport team, and completing on-device processes.

Job description

We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol / white goods / furniture onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
• Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
• Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
• Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
  Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
• Have previous experience of working with volume orders
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
• Can perform simple maths calculations
• Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker!
