Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Southampton is seeking a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver to deliver household white goods and ensure safe, on-time arrivals. The role is permanent and full-time, with Tue-Sat shifts starting 6am, heavy lifting required and installation training provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 7.5T Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver household white goods to customers' homes.
• Provide installation training as required.
• Assist with heavy lifting in a safe manner.
• Be an ambassador for DHL Supply Chain with a can-do attitude and commitment to first-time-right results.
• Work as part of a team to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

Pay Rate: £39,985.02
Grade: CA
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday, 6am - 10 hour days
Location: Southampton, SO53 4ND

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering household white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc...
• Wets installation training will be provided as this will be required in customers homes.
• There will be alot of heavy lifting involved in this role
• Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role
• Enjoy working as part of a successful team
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
