Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our logistics network, delivering goods safely and on time across a variety of routes while upholding high standards of safety and customer service.

You will perform routine vehicle checks, hold a valid HGV C+E licence with Driver CPC and tachograph card, enjoy nights-out four nights per week, and benefit from a generous pension with 8% employer contribution, 4% employee, plus private GP and retail discounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner within Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive

• Nights out 4 nights a week and maintain timely deliveries

Job description

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks. Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Tramping experience desirable but not essential
• 12 months experience desirable but not essential.
